Hunting Games
« on: April 03, 2011, 08:14:13 AM »
Before Christmas there were a few places advertising hunting games for Wii. Did anyone get any of them and if so what do you think of it? Thinking about getting one but heard bad things about Wii and hunting games in the past.

Kids have bought me a few hunting ones and one fishing one.  I can count on two hands the times they have been played.....kind of cheesy. ;D

Cabela's puts one out that's called Monster Buck Hunter-- my kids have it-- its kind of entertaining...Unfortunately it requires an additional gun that goes along with it that you have to buy in order for the game to work. But if you like to pull the trigger on animals its a lot of fun. I kept track once and figured I would have had to have roughly 58 big game tags to cover the deer that I shot one round....not sure who gutted all those animals out but glad it wasn't me! And I cannot even begin to tell you how sore my shoulder would have been if I had really shot all those ducks, geese, and turkeys!

Anyway, I think that if you are looking to get one-- it would pay to invest the extra money and buy the Cabela's version, I think they make a pretty good one compared to some of the others. That's just what I have been told.
