August goose season

Anyone else go out for the August goose opener? We had a fantastic morning. 6 of got our 48 geese in no time!

Nope, don't like the summer season but I will be out in the 10 below weather Jan. and Feb. Looks like you had a good shoot though.

I just dont have the setup for geese, and right now I cannnot afford to get it. I would love to set up in  field, but not sure when I will have the spread to do so. Looks like you had a great hunt, congrats.

I wouldnt be worried about not having several decoys, in past years some friends and i got into all the canadians we could handle with 15 to 20 decoys. most of those were homemade decoys out of 1/4 inch plywood and some spray paint with a metal stake fastned to them.
I only trust two fisherman, one is dead, the other one is not on this forum
