i just moved out here from minneapolis and fished reetz a couple of times and all ive caught was small eyes if anyone can help me i would like to know where to fish to catch bigger eyes and some perch or if someone could tell me other lakes to try

posted on another site - thought this might help - where do you live now?  COLD WEEK WILL PUT ICE IN GOOD SHAPE.  PLENTY OF ATV AND PORTABLES GOING ON NOW.  BITE IS AWESOME, ENEMY HAS BEST REPORT FOR WALLEYE, WAUBAY FOR PERCH.  LYNN, HORSESHOE A GOOD BET.  REETZ HAS A BITE BUT SMALLER

Moved to Watertown, never have and luck on Pellican or Kampeska. Started heading to Reetz but never find anything with size. Thanks for the info, any other info would be great.

have you ever tried dry lake  its probably only about half and hour to 45 min from you I know of some guys that have caught some hogs out of there before I dont know about this yr though

reetz holds a good # of large eyes and perch, ive had the same trouble out there also, the smaller fish are more aggressive than the hogs, theres some points and trees, junk piles, and all sorts of decent structure out there.  I fished it pretty hard this summer and had a quite a few fish in the 24-27 inch range.  or the perch i waould just keep movin until you locate them.  Ive iced waldos out there in the eveening up in shallower water (5-7ft) in along the trees.  i,m from watertown also, lets giv'er hell sometime.

Dry doesn't help much.  There's 3 Dry lakes with in 45 minutes of Watertown

any new news on the bite out there brother is in town from minneapolis looking to get a couple fish havent had time to get out and check
