I was fishing just south and east of Jerry's (I guess between 2 and 4 mile road; just on the other side though).  Fished for some northerns during the day, and walleye and perch for the evening, and not a flag.  GOod luck today.  As for the geese, there were 2 groups of early arrivals that flew over Thompson yesterday (less then 100 in both) and there weren't quite in range either (we had the shotgun in the truck).
Remember, I'm pulling for ya.  We're all in this together.

You guys seeing snow geese or canadas? I was on 81 then long then thompson and then sinai today and saw honkers around every where i went but did not see any snow geese yet. as for the fishing, I watched people catch fish on thompson and long lake and i didnt get a bite at either. caught one silver bass on 81 and that is the only bite i had all day.

Was on Byron today - the dead sea - but did see a flock of 75 snows and blues, and a couple of flocks of honkers.

I was on thompson today.  Saw lots of honkers a few specks, lesser's, and one flock of snows.  Could have done my fair share of pass shooting of the honks if the season was open.  Had one flock of lesser's trying to land not to far from us.

P.s.  Fishing was worthless.
Here fishy...fishy...fishy

Is this about fishing or geese??

We got our limit of walleyes over by Jerrys yesterday.  Our holes varied from 7-10' of water.  Also iced a half-dozen perch and 2 crappies, along with 1 northern pike.  It was a great day.

This morning started out great but didn't end that way.  Had six of our eight walleyes and threw back a 23", but then the fish quit biting.  The wind was really howling so we made a dash off the lake.

Was on Dry Sat...Got quite a few perch 13.  No walleyes but I also did notice some geese.  However I don't hunt them.  Spring must be around the corner.
