Nope, I probably should have put this link on there. Snow Geese Migration 2008 but I didn't so I'll put it in here instead.

Be aware the site bait babe posted is a very, very slow loading site and I'm using DSL not dialup. It could just be my connection but somehow I don't think so.

fishin,  a buddy of mine runs a couple of websites that have a forum on waterfowl and they update you with where the snow goose migration is at for a particular time.  Try these:
duckhunter.net
waterfowler.net
flocknocker.com
Averyoutdoors.com

The geese are normally here by the 2nd full weekend in March. We hunt them like rabid dogs and according to the latest news, they are right on schedule. I hope it will be like it has the last two years! They get here and then it snows to the north and they have to stay. :o

My best friend lives by Artesian, and that is always right in the middle of the action the last few years. I will keep everyone posted!

After all, we need to do our part to reduce the population. ;D

The last two years ive had around 100 by this time. They are a little behind. If you put time in and do your scouting you can get the early flocks that usually show up around the last weekend in february to the first weekend in march and hunt them right through the end of the season. We shot snows in eastern south dakota last year up to the very last day of the season! Hey bowhunter do you decoy em or jump em? If you decoy what are you runnin for dekes?

I guided and decoyed them for 9 years, but I got rid of the 20' trailer full of decoys in the early 90's. Sneaking up on them is like bowhunting bedded deer in a corn field for me. My pulse pounds like a 16 year old on prom night when I pull off a good sneak. I hunt with my buddies in Texas when I need a field hunt over decoys these days.

My 17 year old son and I were within 30 yards of around 10,000 last year on several occasions, and seeing his cheshire grin while he waited for me to call the shot is something I can and will always be able to see in my minds eye. Just nothing like it for me.

Go get 'em boys!
