When does gun season start for deer

and what are the hours you can hunt? Can you use rifles or just shotguns with slugs? Quite a few people been coming to these pages about hunting and then emailing questions. Lol, I'd rather have the answers on here and all you guys know the answers. ;)

East river rifle starts this saturday the 17th.  hours are 1/2 hr before sunrise to 1/2 hr after sunset.
