Tough from shore!  Slip bobber and crawler or a pilkki with waxies or a crawler, try different locations

I have heard from a couple guys that the perch are running small in the 8 to 9 inch range. Lot of sorting to get keepers.

Some nice limits of perch on madison also.  Sorting involved, but a good bite, lots of fun, bring plenty of crawlers!

People are using shrimp and crawdad tails. My boy and I had best luck on Minnow heads and tails. Lots of 7 inch perch with a few 9 inchers. My boy got one that was 11 inches. The guy next to us had a 12 inch one.

Madison, still a good bite for perch if you can find them.  Did well today kept 55 perch for 3 of us, 9-12", caught plenty more and could have definitely had a limit of 75.  Also had a few walleyes and crappies.  Johnson point area was best.  Good Luck!
