Crappies starting to bite on Thompson in late afternoon south of the steakhouse.

lots of small perch on south island, you can sort keepers here and there. Good place to fish if you just want to catch fish.....and always that chance of catching the big one..thanks gfp

Well I hope the small ones stay out of the way.  Tomorrow morning I'm heading out there and only have about 2 hours to fish.

OOOOO BOY!!!! Came home with 50 or so in the bucket.   Which is about six less minnows than we started with.   Fished from 7-10... not a bite.  One other truck on the ice.  Heard a lot of hootin' 'n hollerin' coming from them but no clue how they did.

We fished along the west shore in about 11fow.  Needless to say I will not be heading out there on Saturday.
