I am planning on going to cochran and was wondering if anyone has fished it lately and how they did.

Last friday-Access is tough, 1 rough ass path that goes out to the only permie on the lake.  You wanna go anywhere you gotta bust trail and is enough snow where that is a challenge.  That said been there twice caught a small Walleye.  snowmobiles unless the snow has hardened enough for 4wheelers.

   Cochrane has a great Bluegill and Crappie population .  Theres some really nice fish to be caught .  Work the weedlines for gills and the hole at the east end will produce crappies , some pushing 12" .   It is pretty tough going , but wheelers should do fine.
