Nice perch highsparks! I'm the guy from Michigan with the little house in Clear Lake. I was meaning to get out to do some ice fishing but my time and other obligations kept me from it. Your perch look pretty ripe with spawn. When do you usually hit the spring perch run?  I'd guess around the first of April, but not being from the area, I'm only guessing. How do you normally fish for them- (? small minnows). Perch are one of the top fish in my book. I go to Canada every year fishing with a group of guys. They usually concentrate on walleyes and I often sneak off to find some perch. Again, congratulations on the nice perch and thanks for posting the pics. It makes the story a lot more enjoyable when you have the fresh photos of the real thing there. Good Luck next time and keep the pictures coming if it's not too much of a hassle.    michfish
