Is the snow hard enough for 4 wheelers on thompson or is it still pretty soft.  I don't have chains and fish alone so I don't want to be digging out the whole time.  thanks!

I was able to drive my pickup with little trouble.  I'm sure your wheeler will be just fine.  Caught a few over by the grade on Monday night.  Mostly small but two around 17"

Tried the north end of the lake yesterday from noon till 7 and had one bite. Marked a few fish right at dark out in front of north shore in about 17 to 18 feet and that is where i had my bite otherwise not a thing.

Fished the North side with everyone else and we seen some caught but WOW did we get into them..  We got to the lake at 2:30 pm and right away we had one bite but missed.  Where we were fishing was on the South East corner of the group.  We started to really get into the bites/fish at 4:00 and went until 7:00.  By the time it was said and done, we had 26 bites, 14 fish landed and we took 4 walleyes and 1 perch home. Big eye being 19.  Thompson must be filled with 10 to 13" eyes. But what a nice day to go fishing..

Just got back from the south side of thompson. Fished for 6.5 hours and caught one 8 inch eye and had one other bite. Very slow.
