They were installed years ago when the lake was flooding.  They are about 6 miles south of the Oldham tar on a east- west county gravel.  As I recall they had about 2 feet of water in them at that time.  They ought to be high and way dry now.

Went for a drive to burn some $2.10 gas.

Top photo are the culverts. The middle shows water flowing from the south to the north under the box culvert at the Oldham grade. The last shows (not very well) that there is 14 feet from the top of the box culvert to the water level.

south side from bout 1 mile to grade was frozen today but im guessing its from ice blowing across the lake? The rest of the lake was wide open today. Hasnt come up much at all.

I know this subject is over a year old but with all the rain it remains current.
I posted that  July 10, 2010 the water level was 8'-4" below the box culvert on the Oldham grade. Today July 22, 2010 the water level was 7'-6" below the grade up 10" in 12 days and water continues to run into the North end of the lake.
The culverts south of the grade are 54" dia. and the water level is 13" below the top of the culverts.
Since this post started in March of 2009 the lake has come up 6 1/2'.
