We fished Lost Lake (north of Humboldt) from noon to 7 Saturday and only caught small perch. It was fun since my partner had never been ice fishing before, I wanted to get him out somewhere where we could catch SOMEthing at least.
Then we fished the southeast pond on 81 on Sunday morning. Didn't see anything and no bites. There were about a dozen permanents out there, but no one was in them. One other portable and a few that came and left shortly after arriving. Tried northern part of Oakwood by the State Park boat ramp in the afternoon. Again, didn't see anything or get any bites. We tried everything, minnows with bobbers, jigging, waxies, red maggots, etc. Talked to a few people and no one was catching anything at all.
I heard there were only a few fish caught at the tourney on Thompson Saturday?
