I haven't bought a new bow for 40 years. I haven't hunted with a bow for about that long either. It's something I never got good enough to be sure of my ability to do a clean kill on whatever I was shooting at. MOF, I've always wanted a cross bow and I've been looking at them for awhile now.
I would imagine what the
choosing the right bow for hunting article says also applies to cross bows. If any of you hunt with a cross bow I'd like to know what you think of them and what are some things to think about before buying one.
My biggest concern is getting the bow string pulled back. Lol, getting old and it looks to be a tad bit hard to get a high power cross bow cocked.
