About the same as here. I did see $1.57 at the grocery store in Texarkana when we went by there last Tuesday but everyone here knows they have crappy gas at those grocery stores. I paid 1.68 at Shell and walmart was at 1.63. Walmart gas here is as bad as Sioux Falls. I get about 3 MPG better with Shell regular. Hey, might interest someone, they still have places here where you can buy gas without ethanol in it.

$1.51 at Texarkana. Saw a $1.53 and tons of $1.55 gas all over the place. Got a friend in Kansas City that told me he was getting gas for $1.57 so it looks as if I could go the 1100 miles to get there for less than a hundred bucks. Lol, that's almost as good as the good old days.

Hmmm, TV said this morning the average gas price in Louisianna was $1.31 but I sure as hell haven't seen anything close to that. Lots of gas around at $1.41 to $1.44 but nothing as cheap as they said on the news.

I'm now more amazed at the price of potatos. Sheesh, $6.49 for 10 pounds and that's average potatos, nothing fancy like the big bakers.
