Ridiculous riddle type brainteaser

A person has two pets they use as watch animals. The equivalent of watch dogs but they aren't dogs. Their names are Fernado and Lorenzo. What kind of animals are they?

No you don't get a prize for getting the right answer, just the fact you got the right answer and it's recorded here for posterity is all you get.

Lol...Talking about watch dogs. I had a e-mail about a year ago There were a few guys on horse back and a couple pack mules returning from a hunt. They had a movie of that mule ripping into a mountain lion. The mule clobbered it!!! Trust me, after seeing that, I can see why sheep ranchers keep a mule with the flock. If I ever go back packing with a mule, he will be treated with respect!!!
