Lawyers, Politcians, and Forum Moderators...

lol... Well one eye, this should draw some interest, and get some forum posters.

Did anyone see Sixty Minutes Sunday? Wow, two lawyers said nothing when a man was facing a possible death sentence even when they knew he was innocent! They were relieved when they heard he was only going to receive a life sentence!

Its twenty six years later now, and the lawyers finally came forward with the information of his innocence. The innocent man said it seemed like a death sentence after twenty six years in a correction facility. Yes, he is still confined and waiting for all the red tape to clear for his release, which includes a new trial.

The reason the lawyers kept the info. on his innocence secret is called client atty. privileged information. You see, the innocent man was not their client. The guilty man was, and admitted to them of his murder, the innocent man was convicted of. The atty's could not disclose their guilty clients info. without his permission. They ended up getting a signed affidavit from the guilty man allowing them to disclose the information at his death, which just happened twenty six years later. Catch this... there client was already serving a life sentence for two other murders.  :P

It's just not right!!! >:(

Lol, that's the laws. Don't like them then vote to change them. Simple, like everything else. Heh, forum moderators have rules to. Perhaps you should read the terms and conditions you accpeted when you signed up.  :P

It's been a long cold winter. Sometimes boredom gets the best of me.  :P   I'm done with the Moderator/TLA jokes for a while though. ;D

ROTF, fishnuts, I have a better sense of humor than that. I just couldn't resist posting the terms and conditions to mess with ya. Heh, I should have posted them during that last bad thread. ;) I was laughing when I posted them.

What people say about me doesn't bother me and sometimes I laugh so hard at what's said I have a coughing fit. Getting some friendly crap is part of the game. I dish it out so I can take it too. MOF, I expect it because now and then I know I have some non conformist opinions.

Don't worry about it. ;)
