Whos ready to go ice fishin?!

Anyone else getting as excited as i am to go ice fishing yet? I think im gonna try to get out on the ice this weekend. With it supposed to get down in the single digits for lows and highs only in the 20's this week there should be plenty of ice to walk on by saturday! anyone else gonna try it or am i the only crazy one out there?!

People were out on Oak Lake last week ice fishing.  Don't know how they did.  Ice was 4 inches thick.  I think I'll wait.  These next couple of days should make some ice.

Lol, early ice is always best. Also better to be safe than sorry. I've fished on two inches but nervous as hell. I hate it when you can see that just standing there you are causing a depression in the ice. Finally just went back to shore and watched my tipups from there.

Be careful until the ice gets thicker is all I can say. OTHO it's going to be upper 60's here and 70's next Sunday. ROTF, people in the South just don't understand ice fishing at all.

Was on oak lake last night and caught 4 walters but not much size, 14-16in.  Ice was 4-6in thick, and it was good ice.  Everything should be safe for walk on this weekend, its 4 degrees in webster right now.

Has anybody hit Fish lake by toronto yet I live by Mankato but originally from Brookings and wanting to hit some slabs on Fish like last year.
