Does anyone know how thick the ice is at whitewood?  where would be the best place to unload, and to go on the lake

haha you can vote twice and theres only two options too. haha. But i was up there about a week ago before the storm hit. There was over 25 inches. Might be tricky getting on to the lake cuz of all the snow. Stay on the tracks is my advise. You can unload on the west end boat lauch. Or on highway 14 road 466 i believe. thats a gravel road that goes by a guys house and on to the lake. There is a heave right off shore there so stay on the shore if its possible.. I'm not sure if thats where people are still going on after the storm but thats where everyone went on before it....

Has anybody been fishing whitewood lately or heard any reports? Ive been thinking about giving it a try but im not sure what to expect. Any kind of report is appreciated. Thanks.

i have fished whitewood twice this week and haven't even had a bite, i am going to try it tomarrow, the sunshine usually gets them moving

The last good bite I'm aware of was right before the storm. Most have been going to Thompson this week. Tues. and Wed were good. Thursday was slow.
