warm weather is sticking

4pm Tuesday afternoon, only saw 2 guys on all of thompson, they walked out from boat ramp on 212th, no report.

Temps in the mid 50s for the next week at least, chance for T storms on Sunday maybe Monday, starting to see a few boats coming out of hibernation, the Lakes should open real quick this year.  Good Luck,  Bo

already got one day in on the boat on the river last weekend and I caught more fish in one day then the whole year ice fishing

As of yesterday, people are still walking out. Gonna need plank to get out soon. I heard they are still night biting. (walleyes)

I did make it out yesterday on thompson and didnt catch anything. You can not get on the ice directly off the state landing as that is pretty much open for 10 yards. I had to walk down the beach 50 yards to the west before finding a good spot to get on without getting wet. Once on the ice it is about a foot and a half yet but soft all the way through. If we get the rain they are talking about that could be all she wrote for this winter.

Yeah i walked out a little ways off east side landing off 212th that was no fun it still is doable but i am done packed up yesterday and dug out the waders spring fishing is close.  mid 50s tday low 60s tmoro big winds and 40s andup for the next week should cut it up fast I hope.
