Plan on heading up to Thompson on Thursday morning. Sounds like the area got a decent shot of snow again, if anyone makes it out during the week please let me know what the access is like and if the paths by North Shore are still open.
Thanks!

we got ten inches here in brookings today and the wind is supposed to come up tomorrow and blow 25mph so my guess is everything will be plugged till someone comes by with a plow to open it up.

im not sure about thursday but north shore is hosting a tournament on saturday so im sure they will plow it out for that. This winter has been more difficult even than the last two. Im hoping after 3 tough winters we are in store for a few open ones!

After swinging by the Bait Box we ended up pullin into the North Shore parking lot right behind Monty (owner of North Shore) on Thursday and he cleared the lake access for us. The roads he had previously plowed were semi drifted in but drivable. Big thanks to Monty and the others who took the time to plow roads and spots to put down permie's. I know he was out there a large part of the day Thursday and most the day Friday into the evening both nights clearing spots for people to fish. Hopefully these spots stay fairly open and drivable. Because of a prevoius family obligation I didn't get to stay for the tournament on Saturday but I did catch the rules meeting and I know there were 210+ people in it.

Its impossible. Lots of slush pockets and deep snow. Very tough with a quad.

Thanks, we should be able to get on the north end? Hate to pull the wheelhouse all the way up there and park it in the parking lot.
