Does anyone have a weekend report on Thompson or any other surrounding lake?  Some buddies are coming this way this weekend so we need to get some tips. Thanks!!

Fished Sat. morning out by vantage point then moved in by the state park for the afternoon night bite.  Got nothing all day.  Was around 10 of us and we were just visiting having a good time and no one really wanted to move around, but I figured we would get something after dark, but we never even marked fish on the vexilars.

  I think hes referring to a frying pan.........I  remember and older fisherman referring to one that way years ago.....

hi there this is my first post a buddy and I fished thompson 1pm last fri til 1 am sat we caught 2 fish 5 min apart about 45 min before dark on the same tip up with a bare hook and minny first one was about a 5 lb northern and the second was a 4lb smally about 17 and a half in. but none the less a proud angler which was my first...

Nice catch good to have you join in.  What part of the lake were you fishing.  I would have been very happy to have the same results as you did.  Anyway good fishing and post away. ;D
