I was out on East 81 last Sunday. Couldn't fish much of the lake, only a small area. Some small Walleye (6 in.) and a few smaller perch. Will be getting out this weekend.

I went out on Brush today and fished until dark.  I marked a few fish, missed more, and only pulled up 2 perch.  Both were little guys, maybe making 6 inches.  The ice was only 4" or 5" max.  Not a bad day to go out for the first time of the year.  Just be careful out there though.  My spud bar went through twice on my way out to my spot.

The last couple nights have treated me well in the area. Limits of eyes in the 14-17 inch range and a few 10-12 inch perch. Don't know how to post pics or I would. Ice is 7-7.5. Good luck and stay safe

Was out driving around Thompson and whitewood. 3 shacks east of the park ramp, 50-100 yards from shore. Lol I was on east ramp so it's a very rough estimate. One guy had his 4 wheeler out with him.

1 guy fishing where the road to the slough, by the bridge on county 11, ends at the ice.

2 shacks north of Oldham grade about 3/4 mile or so. Lol, another rough estimate and about 2/5ths of the way out in the lake, open water under the bridge and a coule of midget ice heaves,

Whitewood, no one fishing, open water under the bridge.

Well the ice is where I tend to fish this time of year as well. Poinsett has been fair, nothin fast but good perch all day, range from 10.5 to 13.. Lots of northern. and walleye that are just under 15. couple keepers tho
