Sinai
« on: March 05, 2010, 05:58:38 AM »
Got off Sinai last night just in time.  The next two trucks got stuck.  Helped the first one off.  The second one looked like he broke something.  The boat landing should be avoided by trucks.  I was on a 4 wheeler and you can drive along side of the track.  Just a warning it is a mess.

I was in 32 feet of water, around 5 marked fish constantly but only caught one.  Changed lures lots but could not figure what they wanted.  I do not know what is worse not finding the fish or marking them and can not get a bite.

Have been hearing rumors about south brush, might go check that out if this rain quits.

fished out here from about 230 til dark and didnt see anything till about 515 then schools of perch started coming through. Saw some very large schools but they were very tight lipped. Got 4 to bite but didnt ice any of them. The ramp is rough but doable with a pickup. Getting around on the lake is easier than what it has been.

Here is my post on my last 3 days of fishing on thompson from another site...copy and pasted word for word. Tell me how it differs from what i posted here?
Was out there wednesday night from 4 til 1am and caught 4 crappies. Those were the only 4 bites i had. Thursday fished from 3 til dark and didnt mark a thing. Just got back from there today and fished from 6am til 3 and didnt have a bite. Marked one fish. Fished south of north shore every day...moved all over today and drilled probably 100 holes to find nothing.

A day on the ice, even with no bites is still better than a day at work with bites
