northern pike - water clarity
« on: January 03, 2010, 09:10:05 PM »
Darkhouse speared for northern pike on Rush Lake Dec 12th and got 3 small ones.  Water clarity was excellent.  Speared on Whitewood on Dec 19th.  The water clarity was excellent, but only speared a carp.  Water clarity at Spirit Lake was less than 2 ft that same day.

Is anybody catching pike in Whitewood, Spirit, Norden, Albert, or Mary Lakes?  What is the water clarity in these  lakes?

Thanks for the water clarity and northen pike reports.  I did go out last Sunday and found that Lake Albert had 6 ft of clarity.  I speared a three pound pike in 1.5 hrs of staring down the spear hole.  I then drove to Mary Lake and found it had about 5 ft of clarity.
