So has anyone heard of any action on Poinsette lately, about time for the perch to start biteing good.

Just got back from Poinsett. The perch are on a spotty bite. A few nice walleye in the mix, as well as Pike, and silver bass.

Jig and minnow and ice jig with plastic fishing vertical (very slow) with trolling motor.
The walleye and northern were incidental as we were fishing for the perch.

caught 6 walleyes between me and a buddy on monday with a slow presentation of a plain jig and a minnow. seemed like the slower the better. gotta love them fall walleyes! :)
