Was out w/ my neighbor yesterday (see picture) on Lake Madison checking on the fall crappie/perch bite. Found lots of fish out in the deeper water that would not bite. Moved in shallow and pitched jigs/minnows to catch about 60 crappies, 2 perch, and a smallmouth. Had to catch 3 little ones to get one keeper, but had a blast.
