Best advice I can give you is go to a smaller jig or smaller minow or smaller jig with minowhead. If that doesn't work then add about 3 feet of 2 or 4# test for a leader. If already using small go up a size or two.

on fish lake try the chrome super duper i just added it to my box this year and have had pretty good luck if you go to fish i would avoid the crowd on the north side of the aerators its a cotastrophe waiting to happen before long a whole pack of trucks are gonna go swimmin cuz people are too fearless i was out there saturday and the ice was almost three feet thick all over but the pack by the aerators was only about fourteen inches yes the fish are biting close to them but be careful

a 3' leader wouldn't do you much good on fish lake unless it was tied to the bobber

Went out today and only caught one 6 inch perch...nothing going on out there...but there is plenty of ice...i can vouge for that one...almost needed an extension for the auger!
