Dry 2
« on: August 18, 2006, 09:17:45 AM »
Had a fella in who fished Dry 2 yesterday from 3pm- almost dark got 2 18inch eyes 1 15inch and a 12 inch that swallowed his rap so he had to keep it, and quite a few 3-8lb Northerns threw them back, he also said there was 2 guys pulling off when he got there that claimed to have limited out on both eyes and northern, with one 14 inch Perch.  Good Luck,  Bo

You should all know the ramp and dock is pulled out at dry now so conditions are extremely primitive. The metal grates that extended the launch pad past the cement is out also so good luck. There was one boat that managed to launch somehow but we weren't willing to risk it. Any word on why the ramp was removed? We wasted a trip up there. Thompson wasn't too bad this weekend though.

GFP is probably sick of getting gripes about the ramp and damage to boats and trailers so they took away their problem, now it truley is fish at your own risk and no longer their problem, also most people I know have been using road ditches to launch on dry instead of the ramp for the last 2 years now.  I think you take a tar road right in the middle of Willow Lake and head North, but ill double check.  Good Luck,  Bo
