2lb - 15" Crappie caught by my two year old - Lake Thompson - Sunday 10-23-2011

Here is my family's highlight from yesterday! My two year old caught it at Lake Thompson in South Dakota. The local bait shop weighed it and certified it for a "Trophy Fish Award". We just went and dropped it off at the taxidermist, she was so excited! Hooked for life! My other daughters wanted a photo with once we got home too. I just need a bigger boat because I'll soon be having to take all 6 of my kids fishing!

Fishing is always awesome with my kids; but days like yesterday are memories for a lifetime!

I've caught more than my fair share of crappie and perch this year. We've had 8-10 perch break 2lbs this year too!

Here's a photo of a pig one of my other daughters caught! This one was right at 2lbs.
