The Bait Box - meeting your fishing needs
Fishermen, we have all of your bait needs here. Crappie minnows, both large and small, fatheads, large and small chubs, leeches, smelt, spikes and wax worms, etc. We also have a large line of the most popular lures and jigs for this area, rods, reels, minnow buckets and all of your tackle needs plus your favorite brands of beer and pop and other assorted snacks.

Need a map of the local lakes? We have them. Need directions? We can give them to you. Fishing advice is free and we have a ton of it for you. Ask us where the fish are biting and on what bait.

We're located at the motel parking lot in Lake Preston. Our hours are from 6 AM - 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM, Mondays we are open from 7 AM - 10 AM and 2 PM - 7 PM. Even if you don't need anything stop in and tell us hello or find out where the fish are biting. You'll be glad you did.

If you need me to come in early or stay a little late so you can get bait just give me a call at the number below and I'll be more than happy to do it for you. However if you need bait early you'll need to let me know the day before.
