Walleye fishing, the walleyes are biting.

Walleye Fishing at Chamberlain

Unfortunately the walleyes aren’t doing that well on Lake Thompson. From the reports on the fishing forum it doesn’t appear much of anything is biting in Eastern SD. For sure there are no walleyes or other reports this past week.

However there is still hope for all the ardent walleye fishermen and fisherwomen. That’s because the walleyes are biting at Chamberlain. Yep, it’s a bit of a drive to catch some walleyes but the guys and the other fishing reports say the walleyes are biting really well.

You can read more about it at Allens Hillside Resort page and be sure you notice the great pics of all the walleyes on the first page of the site. Here’s another link you can read more at walleye fishing at Chamberlain.

While nothing much is happening for a walleye bite in the Eastern part of the state, if you want to drive a couple of hours you should be able to limit out on walleyes. Lol, I never minded driving if I knew I was going to catch fish after the drive.

So if you don’t mind a little drive and you want to catch walleyes hop in your vehicle, pull your boat and head for Chamberlain because the walleyes are biting and the walleye fishing is good. Seems even if you don’t have a boat you still have a shot because they are catching walleyes from shore, too.
