The new walleye fishing tournament payouts and applications are now on line for you to see and print out. Seems to me the fishing tournament apps are out early this year but that’s okay as it gives people more time to decide if they want to go and fish the tournament or not.
This walleye fishing tournament is in it’s 20th year and it’s sponsored by the Lake Preston Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Preston Fire Dept. IMO and many others, this is one of the best run fishing tournaments around the state.
The dates for the Walleye tournament are Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7. It makes for a nice fun filled weekend getaway and you also have the chance to make a bit of money if you’re as good a fisherman as you think you are. 
It pretty much fills up every year and people who are late getting their application in just don’t get a spot in the tournament. It is a two day fishing tourney and everyone always has lots of fun. If you need a place to stay during the Walleye Fishing Tournament I recommend the Lake Preston Motel. You can reach the Motel at 605-847-4424.
