About me and my fishing knowledgeI'm 60 years old and I've been fishing or at least going to the lake since I was a few weeks old. For many years I subscribed to a ton of fishing magazines and read almost every book tha came out on Northern Pike, Walleyes and panfish.I know, or knew a few of the walleye pros and I met Ron and Al Lindner several times. Most of what I know comes from experience, a lot of experience. I've ice fished, fished from shore and boats. When I started fishing I first used a cane pole and when I finally whined enough I was given a steel fishing rod about 4 feet long and a level wind reel. I used to get really angry about all the backlashes and birdsnests I got in those reels. If I tell you I tried something while fishing and it worked, it worked. If I tell you something didn't work, it didn't work. However that's just my experience, others may differ. I enjoy fishing and sharing what knowledge I do have so I hope you read it, enjoy it and catch more fish because of it. |
