South Dakota Fishing Information
Hi and welcome to the best fishing page in South Dakota. We don't clutter you up with junk and links you don't need. Nor do we hit you with a ton of popups that drive you crazy. What we do give you is the fishing report for the lakes in South Dakota. In general walleyes, crappies, bass, northerns, perch and anything else that may be biting.
Check this fishing page every day as it will be updated most mornings by Bo from the Bait Box or Toni(Bait Babe) from the Motel in Lake Preston, South Dakota. If the fishing is really hot Bo or Bait Babe will update the fishing report more than once per day.
If you have any fishing reports of your own to make you may do that by posting. Let us know what you are catching, where, when and what you were using for bait, etc. Just click the Fishing Report link and then make your report. Instructions, if you need them, are on the FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions) link at the top of the page.
We have info on many of the area lakes, not just fishing on Lakes Thompson, Henry, Preston or Whitewood. Not only is the Motel fishermen friendly but our fishermen are very good on average. We get calls from fishing guides and even pro fishermen wanting to know about local fishing. Many guides will bring clients to this area because they can always catch fish around here.
